Breaking News IMPORTANT CLINIC UPDATE       Beginning July 1, 2013 through July 12, 2013, Occupational Medicine Physicians in Clarksville, Indiana will be open for Drug and Alcohol Screening Services ONLY.  During this time, most of our team will be working out of our New Albany clinic and there will be no providers available in the Clarksville clinic.  The staff members at Occupational Medicine Physicians and Northgate Urgent Care will be going through in-house education and training.    Please note that our New Albany office will remain open for normal business hours throughout the dates listed above.   If services other than Drug and Alcohol screenings are needed, please refer to our New Albany office. Haiti 2011 In February 2010, just a few short weeks following the horrific earthquake in Haiti, a medical team from Southeast Christian Church gathered together supplies and people and went to help. Dr. McClain, his wife, Joyce, and many others went to help any way they could. "We thank our many clients who came through to help with financial means as well as medical supplies. We were able to see hundreds of patients in two locations in make-shift  'clinics.' One lady came to us with a tumor and several of our doctors, including Dr. Dan MacMillan from Surgical Associates of Southern Indiana. The surgery was done on a church pew and the young lady will have a full recovery and go on to lead a normal life instead of the life of rejection and outcast for which she was destined. We hope the few pictures below give you just a glimpse into the trip and allows you to feel a part of impacting many lives." - Dr. Dennis McClain and his wife, Joyce.       Polar Plunge In January 2011, after years of begging for OMP to join him in the Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics, Kat McClain accepted the challenge. OMP’s long time client, Russell Miller with Champion Trucking, was able to convince Kat to join Team Ice Socks. Together they were able to raise a total of $66,030.00 to benefit children and adults in Kentucky with intellectual disabilities so that they can have the opportunity to experience the joy of sports training and competition. Anyone interested in taking the plunge...I'm sure Russell and Kat would welcome you with open parkas. Out and About at Our Clients We are pleased to offer many services on-site to our clients.
